I was just wandering around in Space, as I turned around I saw the greatest thing ever. It was a New Invented Planet. It was rocky it had white snow on it the snow was white like a polo bare . Tired and cold , lonely and amazed . I jumped on the new invented planet . I saw aliens . WOW , I was so impressed , I marked a flag on the new planet . and named it Stardust . I had an amazing time jumping about with the aliens . Tones of questions were running through my mind . Like how am I here , Is it a dream ?

I mysteriously got out of my rosy
bed and then heard a creepy noise that made me jump! I then thought it was nothing but then but then I started hearing some creaking noises. Suddenly, my heart started beating my hands started to shiver. A black shadow started rapidly booming across my bedroom then I knew I had to make a run for it! Motionlessly as I turned around it changed shape it was massive. I zoomed out of my bedroom and grabbed a yummy snack and rushed out of the door it came after me. I was so terrified!

There are all sorts of things in Space there are comets, asteroids, planets and much more. this morning i woke up and i was thinking about Space because i’m a astronaut i had my first flight going into space with my friends Oscar , Theo , Preston , Dan and Finley i was so excited for my first flight. i got there and was waiting to go on the rocket then i got on then it took off and when i reached space it looked so beautiful better than i thought i missed my family they are precious

Suddenly I saw the big monster suddenly surounding me, as I turned around I saw it had changed the shape it was a round blob but now it is a blob shaped in a square! I was TERRIFIED! So i sprinted up stairs as fast as I could, and I could see the blob chasing me it was FAST! So I ran in my room and locked the door, and suddenly fell asleep…

Hwb
It is great to see so many of you accessing Hwb from home – dysgu da! We have really enjoyed reading your book reviews and creative independent learning – thank you!
Maths learning
This week we have been converting decimals into fractions; finding equivalent fractions and finding fractions of amounts. We are currently using Mathletics to complete some assessments in school, so we won’t be setting any new challenges for home learning until next week – remember to check! (if computer access is a problem at home then ‘Mathletics Club’ will be running next Thursday break time as usual).
‘Super Seven’ Spelling
This week has been our Welsh Guided Reading week, so we are sending home some Welsh words and phrases for you to practise at home.
We have also updated the Spellodrome word lists for you to access.
Solar system reading response activity
In our Science this week we have been learning about the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and how shadows are made. We are sending home a related reading response activity. PLEASE DON’T STICK THIS IN HOME LEARNING BOOKS AS IT WILL BE STUCK IN SCIENCE BOOKS.

‘Super Seven’ Spelling
This week’s focus is ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ and ‘which’ and ‘witch’ and your child will be bringing their ‘Super Seven’ words home as usual to practise at home. Your child will need to access Spellodrome to focus on a range of spelling patterns appropriate to their year group.
Maths learning
Please find enclosed some test-type questions for your child to practise at home. Remember to show your methods and working out. This week we have been consolidating a range of times tables. Please continue to work on these at home, and ensure your child can find related number facts (If I know that 6 x 3 = 18, I also know…).
